VISUAL IMPACT ASSESSMENTS

For certain kinds of cultural properties, or sites, the visual impacts of your proposed project may be a consideration in the federal approval process. To determine whether your project will have an impact, ACR flies a specialized blimp at the final height of proposed infrastructure. Simultaneously, other ACR personnel photograph toward the location from key observation points (KOPs) situated at significant archaeological sites, such as a traditional cultural properties or along emigrant trails.
